Certification Kosher

Despite these products being vegetable-based, their Kosher Certification requires stricter controls. A prior visit by the Rabbi is required, who checks the entire production process with particular attention to the pasteurization process and the bottling plant: the water used in the manufacturing process cannot be recycled in any way (this is, moreover, a requirement essential for all processing of Kosher products). During the prior visit, the highest-ranking Rabbi also chooses the products that can be certified and carefully checks the various ingredients of each item. If there are products prohibited by Kosher in the ingredients list, the Rabbi can suggest alternative ingredients. The supervising Rabbi must then be present during all phases of the production cycle up to the bottling of the products.
